Return & Exchange Policy

At Vyamès, we want you to shop with confidence. If your order doesn’t fit right or arrives with a defect, we’ve crafted a clear, customer-centric policy to manage return and exchange requests fairly and transparently, in line with consumer protection norms in India.

 

1. Scope & Purpose

This policy applies to all purchases made on the Vyamès website. It outlines:

  • When and how you can request an exchange
  • What conditions qualify for returns
  • How refunds (in the form of store credit) are issued
  • Your responsibilities as a customer

This policy ensures clarity, fairness, and compliance with Indian e-commerce standards.

 

2. Eligibility for Exchange

A product is eligible for exchange only if:

  1. Request Deadline: The exchange request is made within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Condition: The product is unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
  3. Original Tags & Packaging: All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact.
  4. Invoice: A copy of the original invoice is provided.
  5. Reason: Exchange requests include:
  • Size issues
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Wrong item shipped

Products returned outside these conditions may be rejected.

 

3. Non-Eligible Products

The following are not eligible for exchange:

  • Items showing signs of wear, use, or washing.
  • Products missing original tags or invoice.
  • Change-of-mind requests (unless specifically indicated on the product page).
  • Items marked as “Final Sale,” clearance, or non-returnable.
  • Accessories, gift cards, or customized pieces.

In these cases, the request will be declined, and the item will be returned to you at your cost.

 

4. How to Initiate an Exchange

To request an exchange:

  1. Reach out to our Customer Support at info@vyames.com or whatsApp 9202415898 within 24 hours of delivery.

  2. Include:

  • Order number
  • Reason for exchange
  • Photos of the product (especially if damaged or defective)
  • Wait for approval from our team.

Once approved, you’ll receive instructions for returning the item.

 

5. Shipping the Return

  • Pack the item securely with original tags, packaging, and invoice.
  • Use a tracked shipping method.
  • Once the return is received and inspected, we will confirm eligibility.

Note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Unless the issue is a defect or wrong shipment, return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

 

6. Inspection & Processing Time

After we receive your returned item:

  • Reverse pick up may take up to 7-10 business days.
  • Under the circumstance of a failed attempt to pick up your return by our logistic partner, it falls on you to send the shipment back to our atelier based in Bhopal. 
  • Inspection may take up to 3 business days.
  • Upon approval, we’ll proceed with the next step (exchange or credit).
  • You will be notified via email about the outcome.
  • Due to any inability of exchange against size or style availability, you will be issued a credit note against your request, redeemable on your next purchase within five (5) months. 

 

7. Refunds & Store Credits

Instead of cash refunds, Vyamès issues a non-transferable store credit (promo code) equal to the value of the returned item.

Key points:

  • Store credit is valid for 5 months from issue.
  • It can be used on future purchases.
  • It cannot be split across multiple orders or combined with other codes.
  • Any unused balance will not be refunded or extended.


8. Exchanges

If the same product is in stock in your desired size or variant:

  • We will ship it to you once your return is approved.
  • Exchange dispatch can take 7–10 business days after inspection.
  • If the requested item is unavailable:
  • You may choose another product of equal value (subject to stock availability).
  • Or receive a store credit of equal value.


9. Defective or Wrong Items

If your order arrives:

  • With a defect
  • Or a product different from what you ordered

Please raise a request within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, and invoice. We’ll take care of return shipping and delivery of the correct item at no additional cost to you.

 

10. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth exchange process, you must:

  • Submit accurate return information
  • Ship returned items securely (if pickup is unavailable)
  • Respond to any follow-up communication

Failure to comply with policy requirements may result in rejection of the exchange.

 

11. Cancellation Policy

All prepaid orders are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.

 

12. Governing Law

This policy is governed by applicable Indian laws and regulations, including the Consumer Protection Act and E-Commerce Rules, 2020.
